sitting at work
waiting for mr. downing to come back and tell me what he needed
so cold.
SO LONELY.
I'm getting super irritated with the theater teacher (he spells it theatre, whatever). He can't seem to make up his mind re. what he wants to do with the kids, and they're all getting super antsy and complaining to me about him. And Liz didn't show up today, so there was no one else to help us out in exploratory. Arrgh, it's not hard to get the kids to settle down and pay attention, but when I actually do I don't have anything to do with them. It's just "uhh... how about you go... uh..." I got a little bit of the script written, but now he's like "We're going to need it narrated and no script." RRRRR. They were so excited about finally having lines and stuff! I was getting them to cooperate and help and rrr.
If he doesn't show up in ten minutes I'm going home. I hope AP scores are there. :O!

At work, taking a break from filling out forms. D: D: D: Apparently they can't pay me until I -Get a drug test (done) -Get fingerprinted -Get a health examination -Get a tuberculine skin disease test This sucks. Work is pretty good otherwise. My back hurts from slouching a lot this morning, and the theater teacher is still kind of annoying, but I'm peachy. Back to work~

Lisa E Period 10/26/05 Essay 3 – Black Death and the Reformation The Black Death had a dramatic effect when it came to paving the way for a religious reformation. The loss of roughly a third of Europe’s population was a cause for fear among all social classes in Europe, and an inevitable restructuring of society. People were terrified, and Manchester wrote that there was a great deal of “backsliding into such extravagant sects as the flagellants, who appeared recurrently in the wake of the Black Death. (p. 13).” Not everyone resorted to such extreme methods as flagellation, but it was a sign of growing doubts in the power of the Church. If the Church had been able to provide a solution to the peasants to save them from the inevitable disaster then they probably would have commanded their loyalty and devotion. Yet the Church failed their faithful believers, and fear began to grow. If the Church was unable to protect them from the Black Death, why should they continue to worship? Flagellants were only one example of extreme responses to doubting of current religious belief of customs. Instead of throwing themselves into lives of extreme piety and devotion, there were those that split from the church and lived a life of passion and sin. They completely disregarded the beliefs that they had been taught, and lived for the moment.

watchin' more of the naruto c gave me. can't believe I'm just getting around to it. I'm on the last episode of the set already (they go so fast! or do I have too much free time?), where they're in battle royale. I know it's not REALLY battle royale, but the second exam made me think of it.

kiba is cool, but I think I just like his dog. I want a coat like his. or shino's. or anyones. they're all cool. hated the ending with scary dancing ino and sakura.

net back in zee room. >_>; yessir. dad got it! yaay him. mi madre was getting irritated with him, and started talking about whenever he's actually HOME he just criticizes the way we do stuff etc. and how he's so insane. the only thing that bothers me is that.. well, if you've been to our house, you know we do puzzles constantly. when he was moving the computers around, he just put one of them down on the puzzle we were all working on and pretty much dismantled all of what we'd put together. it was muy sad.

what else.. I don't like that new song, the remake of "I fought the law." it didn't need to be redone. the clash did it okay the first time. didn't someone do a remake of should I stay or should I go too? bleah.

I need more new music, I'm kind of stuck in a loop now. I only have about 60 songs in this comp, and they're pretty much:
captain beefheart and his magic band (frank zappa goodness)
wumpscut
einsturzende neubauten (don't know how to do umlauts on this comp)
hide
bauhaus
simon and garfunkel
harry nilsson (I can't find another copy of The Point)
dave matthews, santanna, jimi hendrix.. yeah, yeah. I know I don't have very good taste in music.

bpa meeting tonight. it was bleaah. we did okay, but we have to do EXTRA meetings now, which isn't cool. this means we have to meet about three times a week, which is.. I guess almost seven hours? possibly?

"This question creeps me out for some reason" - Anne, 33, Toronto

Celeb MILFS

"Gillian Anderson, oh, my God, Gillian Anderson."

Not much else to report. The computer in my room is dead to the internet because dads installing some new connection or servicer, which is a ticker. He says it should be back up tomorrow, but I doubt it. I guess I should have faith. I've forgotten everything I was ever going to say. Ever.

Sometimes I'm afraid I'm going to forget everything I've ever known, because I forget things that happen to me in the past really easily. I used to keep a little notebook of things to read every once in a while when I was afraid I was forgetting everything again. I use my blog like that sometimes.

how ron runs away and goes uaaahaahaaaa
"i love YOU, harry!" "..uh."
"oh no! what is it?!"
how voldemort dances around after killing snape
the naked dance music
How you can hear ron go "die die die"
"alas, a cornucopia of love!"
I also like how he (dumbledore) just rifles through their pockets
and how the voldemort puppet skintone didn't match the arm because he was so pale and stuff
and how snape is like "Get OFF" and ron is all high pitched and "no! ^^"

I'm not irritated at you for IMing, it's actually very few (none )of you precious readers I'm irritated at. otherwise I wouldn't let off the steam

It was a designing show, I guess, not a sitcom, which makes it a little more normal

sometimes that IM thing won't work if you leave it for too long. the reason I don't respond is because I'm not even here a lot (most) of the time.

so I started playing a game. yes. I got tired of this other game called puzzle pirates really quickly somehow ( i don't know why), and I found this other mmorpg called.. okay, worst name ever. fairyland. but the graphics aren't bad for a free game. I'll see how it goes.

I dled another thing called survival project, which won't work because my registration is messed up. but I don't have enough time to be playing all of the games anyway, I still haven't done this roberts rules of orders parley packet. bleah.

For some reason, I can't drink anything. I have a lot of trouble drinking water, gatorade, or soda. I'm fine with fruit juice and milk still, but I don't know how long that'll last. I can drink stuff if it's icy. i think it might be because I'm a freaks.

I've started an exercise someone told me about. draw 100 heads a week. i guess that averages out to fourteen/fifteen a day? haven't done the math.

Wella.. better end on a positive note. the cat is still here. she's so, so skinny, especially compared to bubba, it's a little disturbing. I'm still calling her hideous monstrosity and
-have to pause and go open the door for her right now
Nevermind, she was in the kitchen, but I can still hear her from here. gosh she's got a pair of lungs for a freaking hanger of a cat.

Kishimoto: NEVER
NOOO.

I imagine Connies already posted this, but I just saw it on a site

Shonen Jump: When you were young, you were attacked by monkeys. Can you tells us about the experience ?
Kishimoto: I accidentally stepped on a young monkey, and the alpha male of the group and the mother of the monkey attacked me. Ever since then, I have been afraid of monkeys. But these days, I look back at the incident and realize that the protective, nurturing aspect of the monkey is just the same as what a human would feel.

riiing riing on Friday, January 23, 2004
Err, connie?

I don't think I actually drew that. o_o

I don't ever recall doodling anyone with hair like that. the one in the center could have been one of my old ones because of the face shape, but the eyes on the upper right one don't look like any of my styles, I don't think, and the shading on the hip. the bottom left one doesn't look like something I would have done back when, either, because I rarely used expressions

re connie fanfic snippet (the book one): how the heck did that remind you of me?

riiing riing on Wednesday, January 21, 2004
God damnit, this thing is being really weird tonight and I accidentally closed the window I was writing in and I forgot what I'd typed.

Oh yeah, Lian. I was going "what the heck", because for some reason she feels the need to post all the links that other people post. Lian, you bewilder me. We all read the same blogs! We've all seen the link before.

Went to see big fish with Connie and Lian. good music (vintage stuff, my brother). good movie in general. I liked the various characters etc. liked the old witch. Whores snapped my suspenders

As Lian noted, I haven't blogged about midterms yet. I don't plan to.

I wish people would stop IMing me. Not all people, just certain people. i don't mean like you guys (and I'm sorry for snapping at you the other day, connie, I've been in a very bad groove for a while). But these folks IM me and the conversation is basically just
Person: ^_^ Hi.
me: eh
person: Wasabi?! ^^
me: Not much. (I don't like to say anything else. "not much", or "nothing". if you're asking for more, you're too greedy and invasive)
person: That's good. =D

And there's this long stretch of silence because this is when I'm SUPPOSED to ask them how they are, or I should've tacked it on the end of Not much ("Not much, you?") and they talk about everything thats bothering them and I uh-huh and it makes them feel better.

I wouldn't note this, except I just had two IMs like this in a row. possibly time for a new sn.

I was going to talk about something else, but I forgot what it was, so I'll update you on the cat (oh yay). She's (fairly sure it's a she),

gah. IM interruption of one person going "mmm so yah" (arkansawian guy). I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean, and I should probably just talk back, but I'm too feeble to carry on conversation with people i'm not excited about.

Anyway, she's pretty much moved in with us and she's freaking out MY cat. it's very annoying. and moose has to sleep with me because if he's not locked in my bloody room he'll growl and hiss at her and she'll do the same back.

we haven't named her yet. I call her "hideous monstrosity" (hide for short).

we had a bpa meeting today. unbelievable. I have to do a whole packet of parliamentary procedure homework by sunday. the meeting lasted until TWO O' CLOCK. so I basically had regular freaking school, besides the midterm, and I think p-p still expects us to study thirty minutes of parly every night. I almost hauled off and beat gregory yugov to death when I started talking about parley procedure and he was like "oh, that's simple!!"

mrs. gooden (I think?) saw me after school and was like "how many organizations are you in?!" and someone in the library asked me my name because there's a picture of me in the yearbook, but no one knew what my name was, I think?

what else.. oh, on tlc the other day there was a remodeling show and there was a person named connie. which didn't really bother me. but then there was a lian. which was only slightly funny. and then there was a lisa. and that just scared the hell out of me.

last anecdote. someone started talking to me in borders again. she'd mistaken me for an employee, and she realized her mistake when I sort of stared at her blankly for a few minutes. it was funny, but only because it's happened about twenty times. at borders and barnes and noble. and i have NO idea why. I wasn't even wearing borders-y clothes, just my nightmare hoodie and various pants which I can't remember.

riiing riing on Monday, January 19, 2004
I know. i haven't updated in a while, and there is a very important reason.

That being that I'm kind of extremely lazy.

I'll tell you about the cat, just to have something to put here.

If I don't, I'll get more people subtly going "hey lisa!!!! you haven't updated for a while! *winkwink, nudgenudge*"

Which kind of defeats the purpose of having a blog, which is to keep a journal of things, which I consider to go at your own pace. besides, it's like having a crazy grandmother ask why you haven't finished knitting a sweater until you attack her in a rage and break her nose with a chair

so why am I even putting this up here? because things don't work like a journal sometimes.

anyway.. the cat. there's a stray cat outside. she's been pretty much living under our deck, I think, and dealing with the motherfucking cold like some kind of badass. she's white and grey (gray if you prefer), and has a collar, but none of us have had a chance to really check it. I'm very worried about her.

we usually leave food and water out for her, but it's hella cold, so the water usually freezes. I have to change the water pretty often, or mum does, but I don't mind. I'm just kind of scared that she'll die.

I want to take her inside but she refuses. tonight I sat outside for a while (very cold, very boring) and she actually came over. which was surprising because she's hella-skittish and she usually runs away really fast. anyway, she was really really close and I think she would have let me pet her, but I guess I screwed up. I tried to reach out and scoop her up to take her inside so we could check her out a little and see how she was (not to mention get her warm), but she freaked and ended up scratching the hell out of me. so now I have to get her trust back. i'm not sure if she'll be better tomorrow. i would have just sat out there tonight until she calmed down again and came over, but I know everyone would have sort of gone "WTH". so i'll wait and see.

people say I'm good with animals. i hope this works. next time I want to check her tag (or see if she has one).

I thought she was sort of a normal sized cat, but it turns out she's not. she's actually very furry, not normal sized. the fur makes her look like she's normal weight, but she's as skinny as death, I realized tonight. it's making me feel awful.

Job Interview Questions

This is it. Your first job interview! A portal to a magical mystery land of paying jobs and cash monies to spend on stuff you really want. You've decided what you're going to do, but there's something in your way. The interview, like a giant, evil, evil Yeti, standing right in the path to true joy (sort of). How are you going to get past this one?

A common suggestion is to act like you're a product. You're trying to sell yourself to these people because you have talents and ideas no one else has. That sounds a little wrong, or maybe a little corny, but it's a good idea. But how do you get the interviewer to bite? What are they going to ask you, and how do you respond to this grilling? What follows is a list of some very common questions you're likely to be asked, and some suggested responses (and some examples of not-so-good ones)

"Tell me about yourself."
Not suggested: "I'm the captain of the Swedish suntanning team, and I won a purple heart in the war in Amsterdam! I aspire to be the manliest bikini model ever, and gosh I love kittens. I could just talk about kittens all day. This one time, while I was holding a kitten..."
Suggested: Keep it concise. One or two minutes will likely suffice. Talk about your experience in work, your education, and recent experiences.

"What past experience do you have?"
Not suggested: "Well, I, you know. I babysat once and I helped my dad with his work, just, you know, little junk."
Suggested: Teenagers have a tendancy to gloss over past work experiences, thinking they're not important enough to mention, but many employers might be looking out for things like the fact that you've mowed lawns every single summer. Experiences like these show a sort of dedication.

"Why should we hire you?"
Not suggested: "My glorious, shining mane of hair combined with my pretty, glowing skin make me the handsomest man in the world. I'm very talented in all fields, including disabling bombs and ear peircing."
Suggested: Try to think of something unique, emphasize your strengths. Do you have prior experience? Can you do something no one else can? Not as in touching your nose with your tongue, but maybe you help the company save money, maybe you have a good deal of experience with computers and you're interviewing for a tech support job.

"What are your strengths and weaknesses?"
Not suggested: "I guesses I have no weaknesses. I'm a very hard worker."
Suggested: Most people consider themselves hard workers, so that's hardly an original answer. An answer like this represents lack of imagination. When answering, don't lead off with your weaknesses (i.e. "I'm stupid, but I'm really pretty"), start with your strengths. Try making a list of both your strengths and weaknesses, choose strengths that you think the employer is looking for, and minimize your weaknesses. Don't pretend you don't have any, but don't dwell on them.

"What kind of pay are you looking for?"
Not suggested: "As much as you'll give me, sweetcakes."
Suggested: Check up on how much the going rate is in your area first. You might say something like "Well, what would you usually offer someone with my experience?'

"If you were an animal, what kind of animal would you be?"
Not suggested: "A bear, because I want to EAT customers sometimes and I really like honey."
Suggested: Sort of a psychological question, queries like these are often used to see how quickly you can think. Sometimes the interviewer will use this to divine something about your personality. If you say "a kitten", that could be interpreted as saying that you aren't very aggressive. Say "a dolphin", and they might think you're a free spirit."

In conclusion, don't lie. Be straightforward and prepared for this interview. Consider how you'll answer anything they'll throw at you, and good luck!

riiing riing on Wednesday, January 7, 2004
Lian: i still can't get the disk issues worked out, so I'll just post the two articles here If you missed the winter concert on the 16th, you missed something very good. Concord's talented singers and musicians put on a great show this year, led by Mr. McAdams, instrumental director, and Mr. Sabatino, the choral director.

While it was sort of "away from home", the Grand Opera House auditorium proved to be very nice accomadations anyway. That they were able to move from the school's auditorium to the Grand shows that both chorus and band are fairly adaptable groups, dealing with the same flexibility issues that are plauging us all right now.

Post-concert, things got very busy. While I couldn't find very many people willing to be interviewed, I wrangled it and found two victims. Heres what I was able to get from the interrogation:

Me: How do you think you did tonight?
Lucy Smith: We did pretty well, I think.
there was a pause in the interview as I had to stop Ms. Smith from cruelly harrassing my assistant for tonight, fellow, lazier staff member Connie* Me: Were you nervous?
Lucy: Not at all!
Me: What was your favourite part of tonight?
Lucy: I liked when Mr. Sab started waving his arms around, like this.
-At this point Ms. Lucy waved her arms around a bit strangely, apparently demonstrating. Since the esteemed Mr. Sabatino is not a wild goose, I'm skeptical as to Lucy's candor in the matter.
The second interview was with David Zussman

Me: How do you think you all did tonight?
Dave: Honestly, very well.
Me: Were you nervous at all?
Dave: A little, but once I got up there, I was fine
Me: The best part?
Dave: The Quartet. They were silly.
Me: Least favorite part?
Dave: It was all good.

In conclusion, keep up the good work!

riiing riing on Saturday, January 3, 2004
i remember my friend's birthday party because her parents owned one of those places, I forget the name. you went there and it was like an amusement park but the rides were indoors and you just went around.

I don't know if they have them up east here, they probably do. i've just never seen them. but they smell like plastic and socks and you can't go there alone because that's no fun but if you go there with your friends it's heaven.

and so we had the whole thing to ourselves because the friend had it when it was sort of closed I think there might have been a few strangers, earlier in the day, but at night we slept there and it was amazing. i don't really recall where I slept. i think i tried to sleep in the ball pit.. you know, ball pits, lots of plastic balls. i loved burying myself in them and just feeling detached and it's just an odd feeling, because you can still breathe, but you're still surrounded.

but we all got to choose our own place to sleep, it was free reign since no one else was there, and I slept somewhere and I think I was next to the window because I remember the rain and it was real beautiful looking out into the dark and hearing the cars go through the puddles, you know, spliiish and I know I was sleeping on some kind of cheap, malleable stuff that stuck to you when you sweated kinda like carseats, that texture that I can't remember the name of. maybe I slept on the thing where when you walk on it it feels like you're walking on air and you just bounce

but I was next to the window I know and it was amazing to sleep there and I want to find a place like that again someday.

there was another one that was cheaper that was.. I don't remember the name either, I know there were shirts and I think neil had one because he got a shirt from there and there was a mini-golf course inside it and it got shut down someday because of something and it was smaller and I think they just ran out of money. it was near that other toy store that was like pizzaz??? maybe. and the post office which was near the bank which was near the bookstore which was near that place that had the stuffed gund animals for sale that I don't think I ever went in

the pizzaz had beanie babies and my grandmother used to sell beanie baby holders and they stuck on hangers and people bought them.

pizazz was across from the pizza place where you ate pizza once and went with kara(??) and you both got the kermit and you gave it to your.. she was some sort of art teacher?? because she loved kermit. there was a halloween thing there that you were at? and there was the guitar place where neil started playing the guitar and some people stopped in their van there one day to do something and he got the t-shirt that said ERNIE BALL with a picture of a guy and something about mullet man??

the other one was x-cite. you went there with tiffany schroepfer(?) and it was good and kind of strangely empty in some places. there was a mcdonalds inside(?)? you rode a rode but it made you sick and they had some television where they were showing batman??

it was hard to get into the play areas sometimes because you never wore socks because you hated wearing socks and x-cite was across from benihanas where the guy rolled the egg and asked you what it was when I was very very small and you said "an egg roll?" and he got irritated because you ruined the joke because you weren't supposed to get it and he flipped a shrimp at you later.

there was a viking statue near benihanas and something about the boy scouts store and the restaurant with the airplane crashed into it on purpose and the hard rock cafe did you go there once maybe

x-cite shut down. because someone got shot there(??)

you went to visit tiffany because she moved to texas and you were in texas and there was the galleria, huge huge mall intimidating stairs walking up the stairs was scary and you could see right through and tiffany had a little poodle. she told you it was a toy poodle and it was so little and when she described it to you and you thought it was an ACTUAL toy until she saw it because she said it was a toy poodle and boy were you tricked and you went to the playground there near the school and texas was real pretty in that bland way that here tries to be and isn't quite cause it's still wrong and it's not like there.

and tiffany makes you think of your friends. caitlin and owen and that big guy and everyone and how everyone called him nemo and then some people thought he had done drugs and things were confusing then and you went to caitlin's house and you played zelda. not the game, but you got the wooden sword and shield and you remember caitlin wrote to you when you were going and it was a big notebook she gave you and you never got your address and you always meant to write but then you didn't. and now I'm crying 'cause I never wrote her and I miss her so much because parts of that life were so good and it's time to stop.

but I can't because I'm remembering that time we were all of us in the hotel for a party (??who's??) and it was so crazy because it was such a great hotel and we rode around in the elevators like crazy and there was the teacher who was so surprised because you never told her you were leaving and you remember the one time you yawned in her class and tried to be inconspicious about it and she mentioned that she must have been boring me and that was a shame.

the computer teacher bad class because you couldn't type halfway through the year because your hand was hurt and so you ended up trying to type anyway and he played the music from dances with wolves in one class and you sat near blake wilkerson (lived in your neighborhood??) and there was the other teacher who was irritated with you because you couldn't write fast enough and you were at her desk and she was talking to you and you were trying to explain how you couldn't do stuff because your hand made burning owwww and she said "your hand isn't the problem, it's YOU" and you wanted to cry (you cried at night, later, and it still makes you hurt real badly now when you think about it. god such a wimp) and you had to go back to your seat and try not to cry and chris was at your table and you had to leave partway through the year so he thought that was unfair because the points were wrong and everyone mistook you for that other girl when you were younger.

and blake wilkerson in your neighborhood makes you think of the pool where you spent every night there until it closed and junebugs would get stuck in the filter and the cat tango would come to the pool and everyone would have to keep him out but it was so funny because he followed you there like a sheep and when he walked on the real hot pavement on the summer he'd try to trot and stuff and walked so strangely because the pavement was so bad. and the neighborhood makes you think of rachel big red because her hair was so red and how her brother was shot in the head by accident by himself and they had a huge fishtank and a huge t.v. because the father was a doctor but the brother couldn't enjoy them because he was shot in the head, and sometimes it felt like a lost cause and the smiths had a big trampoline in the backyard where you would play pretend with rachel until she grew up and you didn't talk to each other anymore after a while because she was too big to play pretend.

I always think I have such a bad memory but other times I think I just don't want to remember.

jesus, I've been out of school for the stupidest reasons lately. =_=

Today was blind day. My glasses broke last night when I was taking them off and I was like "crap" because it was too late to go to lenscrafters, and I was like "I'll get them fixed tommorrow after school"

Then I woke up in the morning and it was pain. X_x my eyes kept trying to focus, but I couldn't, so I got a huge headache, and when I squinted so I COULD see that wasn't much better because squinting is like TERRIBLE for you. I kept walking into stuff. mum made me stay home and was like "we'll go to lenscrafters when they open up and you can get them fixed. just please stay home and keep me company since I haven't seen you for a week?"

I ended up sitting in the living room chair waiting for her to get done with her skating club work, and I fell asleep and when i woke up it was 1:30 O_o And I was reaaally sore from sleeping like a freaks

We did end up going to lenscrafters, but I didn't get any school time today. what a day. but the fonz bash.org quote makes everything über-better. =D =D =D

eehee, vishal did a great job, I didn't expect him to be in a play but it was cool. i can't believe lian's mum thinks john is cute, that's kind of disturbing somehow

so last night we went to see xiao because she is a freakish elf-obsessed freak. :O she was freaky like a baby with feeble arms (i can't believe I made fun of a baby, but it was so funny looking because of the way it's arms were) and connie and I <3 the queen, even if she can't name all of her subjects because HEY MAN THESE CRUMPETS WON'T EAT THEMSELVES

so today I woke up at about five or six and went out and watched queer eye until connie called and was like HEY, PLAY DUDE and I had forgotten about it. >_>;; so we went to the play. everyone was really good, but I only saw lian about twice. casey was the lead of course, she's like supar actress queen. lucy's voice sounded really neat. we were a half hour late because CONNIE wanted to stop at fry korner and get a bagel because she's a whore.

I went home and hunted down some divX thing so I could watch an anime my friend sent me called Gungrave. it was strange, but it looks pretty good and I wanna watch more of it, but I dinnae wanna bug the friend and be like MORE SEND ME MORE!! we'll see.

You are Form 0, Phoenix: The Eternal. "And The Phoenix's cycle had reached
zenith, so he consumed himself in fire. He
emerged from his own ashes, to be forever
immortal."
Some examples of the Phoenix Form are Quetzalcoatl
(Aztec), Shiva (Indian), and Ra-Atum
(Egyptian). The Phoenix is associated with the concept of life,
the number 0, and the element of fire. His sign is the eclipsed sun. As a member of Form 0, you are a determined
individual. You tend to keep your sense of
optomism, even through tough times and have a
positive outlook on most situations. You have
a way of looking at going through life as a
journey that you can constantly learn from.
Phoenixes are the best friends to have because
they cheer people up easily.

Heh, forgot to link it. ^^;

riiing riing on Thursday, April 19, 2040
If you are Male...
Your score is 70
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feminine Male
You score significantly more feminine than the average male. Male scores above 60 may show a brain sex bias to the female.

If you are Female...
Your score is 100
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Extremely Female You score significantly more feminine than even the average female. A score above 100 points to a very differently wired brain than that of the opposite sex . . . yet differences also attract.

Found in that thread about transexuals about gaia. O_o it's like.. 265 pages long. I was like "WTH can you say about transexuals after 265 pages that hasn't been said?", it's kind of odd. i don't think I'll be able to read all of it. ^^;

I finished that manga I DLed.. I guess I liked it. The art wasn't bad, and I liked Yume, because she was kinda typical, but not truly typical main female chara.

I found a site with some scanlations from the manga I was talking about. I took a few pictures out of the first few pages, I'm sure there'll be more as I read on (the whole manga isn't done in this style, though that would be nice), and so far I've only found pictures of the main chara.

Eee... neil and I went to the mall today for some christmas shopping (he drove since neither of the parents are around. mums gone for a while, and dad doesn't come home until late, so we're basically on our own oh hey pickle!!

anyway, we were at the mall and I was buying mum a ***** (in case she reads this blog, I can never tell with her) because she wanted one and the lady was like really scary. very pushy. I was going to be like.. "err, it's a little too expensive.." and leave, but she was like "Oh, here's another one that's cheaper" and I was like "I'm sort of broke ^_^;" and she was like "i'll take five dollars off the price" so I finally agreed because she was so scary. o_o; I hope mum likes it. I think neil thought it was funny.

I finally found the name of this manga I was looking at.. well, at otakon. the art was really pretty and I think I'd seen it on the net before but it wasn't labeled, but it was on the cover of one of the anime mags. ^^ it's called "someday's dreamer" and I don't like the art they use in the anime that much but the colour images are lovely.

riiing riing on Thursday, November 27, 2003
Look at the time.. It's right, jah? =D s'cause I'm on my grandmums comp. I was tempted to screw it up just out of tradition.

we had to make most of the food when we got here, it was so funny and disorganized because grandma wasn't quite ready for us and she was freaking out. ^^; charlie is here! he is auntie dots adorable kitty (a girl, charlie is short for charlene because they found her as a kitten on the road and they thought she was a he so they called her charlie and then they found out she was a she a while later but they still call her charlie even though they changed her name)
Poor auntie Dot is really sick, she has cancer of the everything. We're going to see her tomorrow, I wonder if she looks different? She was always really frail and quiet and very, very sweet

oh.. and they were talking earlier and I'd gotten up to mess with the door some more (it was opening all the way and I wanted it half open so I propped a cushion up really oddly to keep it half open and everyone who comes in is like ">_>;;..." at it)

ANYWAY, they were talking and I hear them talking about "her" and how she's very odd sometimes and she's all of 15 and a half years old, so i think they're talking about me. They say something about "maybe having alzenheimers" because she acts so odd and weird, and they're telling each other how strange she can be, but she's in pretty good health, and if you hit her she'd hit back and stuff..I finally realized they were talking about charlie, and not me. ^_^; just when I heard 15 1/2

oh, hey, mum brought me cheese. =D *eats cheese*

started listening to josh groban today, I really like a lot of his songs. the one about vincent is superkeen. and I read this michael creighton (jurassic park, congo, timeline) book on the way up called "prey" that my dad leant me. it was very strange. :O since I was done with that I started reading The Secret Garden when I got to the house because I needed something to entertain me while I was dozing off my turkey-induced sleepiness

heh.. the room downstairs I usually sleep in is filled with boxes from auntie dots apartment, so I had to either sleep upstairs in the wicker room or in this room with books and a foldout couch in it. guess which one I chose? dats right, the one with the computer. ^^;; both the downstairs room and this one have a computer in it, but grandmas on a dial-up and I can't use IE on her computers, but it all works out.

I'd be posting a bash.org quote for today, but I actually don't find one every day, I have a big list of ones I like and I c/p them from it and put them on the blog. but today I don't have access to the list, didn't bring my laptop. sorry lian, I'll find one later if I have the time.
*edit* Okay, not a great quote, but live with it. I like the flipper boy one. =D

I don't know what to say about the link thing with all the entries now, it's just the result of boredom btw.

I'm trying to write a story. so far I know there is the mall and there is Ike and there is Saga and things happen and the water dyes him. :O I'm so bad at peicing my sudden pictures together

I need to find more music. I DLed some of the music from ffx-2, but I don't like a lot of the songs, I guess.. there's one I like, one of Paine's songs called Nemura Omoi ( It's near the bottom, next to the girl with the black clothes and red eyes, Paine )

I also finally found an mp3 to the opening of Suikoden III, which I've never played but I really like the song. It's just very.. I dunno. But it is nice and it makes me sad.

I need to find things that aren't video game music, though.. >_> At least I have the cd lucy gave me, which I can listen to as long as I can nab someone else's player they're not using in the house/the dvd player

riiing riing on Wednesday, April 11, 2040

No, really, guess.

Oh fine.. Well, I'm updating!!! Aren't you so proud?!?! bleargh. >O
Life has been life and groovy and all that jazz. "You're hideous!" "I'm working on it."

katelyn l is so funnny =D Isn't she such a jolly person?

I'm so sad, I'm waiting for the new gaia item to come out and I'm all happy about it.

I started playing FFX-2. It's..okay, I don't imagine anyone else that reads this has played it or any other ff game besides Con. Anyway, the character designs are iffy for a lot of the costumes, I guess, especially some of the OMG!I'M BADDASS chara Paine's (she actually is pretty neat, despite all that, because she says stuff like. well, I can't remember now, but I assure you it's fantastic)

anyway, yes.
